Our Brand
Alward Outdoor Solutions was founded in 2018 by brothers Darrin and Drew Alward with a simple idea: work hard, take pride in every job, and treat every property like it’s their own.
What started as helping a neighbor with yard work quickly grew through word of mouth. By their second year, the brothers were maintaining more than 25 properties. By year four, that number had grown to over 100. Today, with more than six years of hands-on experience, Alward Outdoor Solutions has grown into a trusted outdoor service company known for reliability, quality workmanship, and results that last.
From the beginning, their focus has been straightforward: show up when promised, do the job right, and build long-term relationships with the people and communities they serve.

For Darrin and Drew, this idea was shaped long before the company existed. Growing up in the sport of wrestling, they learned that success isn’t built during the competition season alone. It comes from discipline, preparation, and hard work throughout the entire year.
Their coaches often reminded them:
“If you’re going to be good, you have to be strong in every season.”
The real work happens when no one is watching — the early mornings, the off-season training, and the daily commitment to getting better.
That same mindset became the foundation of how they built Alward Outdoor Solutions. Outdoor work doesn’t truly have an off-season. Each time of year brings new challenges and new opportunities to care for and improve the properties they maintain. From the first spring cleanup to the final snowfall of winter, the team approaches every project with the same dedication and pride.
For Darrin and Drew, Strength in Every Season is more than a motto. It represents their belief that consistent effort, preparation, and hard work create lasting results — and that every property should be stronger, healthier, and better cared for than it was before.

Meet Darrin
Darrin is pursuing a Business Management degree at Davenport University, focusing on the leadership, operations, and long-term strategy that help guide the company forward.
Meet Drew
Drew is studying Landscape and Nursery Management at Michigan State University, one of the nation’s leading programs in horticulture and landscape management. His education brings advanced knowledge in plant health, landscape design, and sustainable property care.
Together, their combined experience — hands-on work in the field and formal education in business and landscaping — allows them to approach every project with both practical skill and professional insight.
